SYED JAMALUDDIN APPEALS TO BCB TO CALL OFF PAK TOUR

http://vocaroo.com/i/s0u3IAV0IILy

Bangladesh Cricket Board
Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium
Mirpur-2, Dhaka-1216

Tel:880-2-8031001, 8031002, 8031003, 8031004

Fax: 880-2-8031199

Dear Gentlemen
I hope that you would listen to my appeal and humble request with seriousness. I request you to understand that Pakistan is a failed state and perhaps the most notorious place on earth at the moment. Regardless of the fact that Pakistanis may be great lovers of game of cricket, yet, Pakistan as a state is not worth to be given any importance for so many reasons.
I earnestly request you to kindly CALL OFF BANGLADESH CRICKET TEAM TOUR OF PAKISTAN. This is in the interest of Bangladesh´s cricket future in general and to save the new sporting skills of all players of Bangladesh cricket team in particular. We cannot afford to allow Bangladesh cricket players to risk their lives in Pakistan which is nursery of terrorism. Even senior politicians are not safe in Pakistan. Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked in broad day light in Lahore-Pakistan. Pakistan´s internal security situation is questionable and it would not be prudent on the part of Bangladesh Cricket Board to demonstrate any carelessness simply on the basis of false assurances by Pakistani authorities in the matter of providing security to Bangladesh cricket players and officials. We must decide by analysing ground realities and not emotions.
I pray to ALLAH ALMIGHTY to guide the members of Bangladesh Cricket Board in this matter. Time is running out and it is essential that tour of Pakistan be CALLED OFF as immediately as possible.
Best regards.
JAMALUDDIN SYED

Pakistan may be disintegrated in 2014

Syed Jamaluddin, writer of "DIVIDE PAKISTAN TO ELIMINATE TERRORISM" has predicted that in view of the fact that USA intends to leave Afghanistan during 2013, this may further postpone division / disintegration of Pakistan and Pakistan may now face its disintegration in 2014 summer. According to Syed Jamaluddin, Pakistan Army is also aware of Pakistan´s disintegration and has finally agreed to give up Balochistan as the said province may cause more problems for other parts of Pakistan which may also start freedom movements similar to Balochistan Liberation Army. Pakistan´s notorious intelligence agency called INTER-SERVICES INTELLIGENCE (ISI) has started work on mechanism which will be followed in allowing independence to Balochistan under auspices of a UN-led delegation which will arrive in Pakistan in early 2014. This high-powered delegation will interact with all senior Baloch leaders and Pakistan´s main military leadership in line with the recent understanding entered into between ISI and American government. In exchange of Balochistan´s independence, Pakistan´s military establishment will receive American assurance that India would never attack Pakistan and Pakistan would never by pressurized to sign NPT or CTBT (Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty). Under the said arrangement, Pakistan will be entitled to revenues earned from mines exploration which are currently in the Baloch areas for next 25 years.

Syed Jamaluddin has also informed that Pakistan´s military establishment has also agreed with Americans that Pakistan´s ISI shall suspend its functions inside Indian Kashmir. During Musharraf´s tenure, such undertaking was also given by the then ISI to USA and due to this undertaking, Pakistan´s main media had also suspended any propaganda about Pakistan´s claim on Kashmir. Similarly, it was during Musharraf´s tenure that Pakistan´ foreign office had stopped special briefings on Kashmir which was a routine affair previously.

Syed Jamaluddin has expressed his deep concern on Altaf Hussain´s silence on the issue of an independent state for urdu speaking nation although it is very important that urdu speaking nation must survive after making of an independent Balochistan. It is essential that urdu speaking nation must also demand independence and separation from Pakistan otherwise they will continue to live under military siege forever and rights of urdu speaking nation will be violated openly by Punjabi military establishment as well as local Sindhi nationalists.

Syed Jamaluddin has hoped that urdu speaking youth will soon get up and raise the solgan of an independent state called REPUBLIC OF JINNAHPUR.

PAKISTAN IS HEADING TOWARDS HISTORIC ECONOMIC CRISIS

source: DAWN NEWS PAKISTAN
The budget deficit stood at 6.6 per cent of GDP last year, according to the central bank, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), which warned that government borrowing was crowding out the private sector from access to credit. That reduces the prospects for economic growth in a country that is on the front line of the war against al Qaeda and where more than 5,000 people have been killed in bomb and gun attacks by insurgents since 2007. External forecasts for the current fiscal year see the budget deficit rising to about seven per cent of GDP, while economists warn the government is running out of ways to fund it — and reluctant to embrace reform with polls looming. Some see little alternative to a major financial crisis or a return to the IMF, which bailed out Pakistan with an $11.3 billion loan package in 2008 that stopped last November after Islamabad rejected strict reform demands.
“I think it’s possible they could have a real financial crisis by the middle of this year or the fall. I don’t think it’s a question of if, but when they go back to the IMF,” one Western diplomat said.
Pakistan’s tax revenues are among the lowest in the world at just 9.8 per cent of GDP in fiscal 2010-2011, says the Asian Development Bank, and less than two per cent of the population pays tax on their income. On top of this, the government shells out huge sums on electricity subsidies — about 1.5 per cent of GDP in 2010-11, according to the IMF — for a sector so blighted by mismanagement that most of the country suffers crippling power cuts. Pakistan has also missed out on payments from the United States for its efforts to fight militancy under the Coalition Support Fund (CSF).
This brought around $8.8 billion into Pakistan’s coffers between 2002 and 2011, including $1.5 billion in 2009-10, but Islamabad stopped claiming the money as ties with Washington collapsed in the wake of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden last year. “There’s not really any money coming in, and that being the case, the government is financing itself by borrowing from the local banks and the local banks aren’t seeing deposits coming in to keep up,” said Liz Martins, an economist with HSBC.
The pressure on finance houses “means they have very limited money to lend to the private sector,” she said. “There’s no money coming from the IMF, no money coming from the bond markets, and international investors are very cautious.” Islamabad borrowed 365 billion rupees ($4 billion) from the banking system — both private banks and the SBP — in the first half of the current financial year, the central bank said in its second quarter economic report. With inflation already running at around 11 per cent, the alternative of printing money to pay debts opens the way to the nightmare of hyperinflation. The IMF says Pakistan needs to raise tax revenues substantially to reduce the deficit sustainably, but with an election due within months analysts do not expect Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh to follow its advice in his budget on Friday. “I don’t think the government is able to bear the terms that come with going back to the IMF,” said Sartaj Aziz, former finance minister and vice chancellor of Beaconhouse National University. The situation was already serious, he warned. “The total expansion of currency is higher than ever, so it is already reaching dangerous levels. It has to be arrested by drastic remedial measures,” he said. Officials from the finance ministry were repeatedly contacted by AFP, but declined to comment on how they planned to finance the deficit.
In Pakistan, once a general election is called, an interim government takes power for three months while campaigning is under way and Aziz said he thought this would give the government a way to duck difficult budget decisions. “I think the government will be happy to wait until the election is called and hand the problem over to the caretaker government,” he said.

REALITY OF MIAN NAWAZ SHARIF, ALTAF HUSSAIN AND AFAQ AHMED IN MEHRANGATE SCANDAL

I, Syed Jamaluddin, do hereby solemnly affirm as under:

RE: MR. YOUNIS HABIB´S CLAIM OF PAYING MONEY TO MIAN NAWAZ SHARIF

1. That I was FINANCIAL CONSULTANT of M/S TARIQ SULTAN AND COMPANY during 1990-91. The said company (TARIQ SULTAN AND COMPANY) was owned by one Mr. Majid Sultan Khwaja. The said company was registered in Peshawar and had regional office at Marriot Road Karachi in 1990-91. Later, the said regional office was shifted to PECHS Karachi during 1992;

2. Mr. Majid Sultan Khwaja was a very close friend of Mian Nawaz Sharif (Leader of the then Pakistan Muslim League);

3. M/S TARIQ SULTAN AND COMPANY was responsible to handle all imports of scrap from different parts of the world including United Arab Emirates and certain other countries in the Middle East for ITTEFAQ FOUNDRIES owned by Mian Nawaz Sharif and his family (commonly known as SHARIF BROTHERS). This arrangement of importation was primarily organized to safeguard financial interests of ITTEFAQ FOUNDRIES in terms of taxation and excise duties / government levies etc;

4. M/S TARIQ SULTAN AND COMPANY was also responsible to issue INVOICES in the name of ITTEFAQ FOUNDRIES with very minute profit margin (just for the sake of giving such sales transactions a cosmetic touch). Almost 50% of such transactions were not documented and M/S TARIQ SULTAN AND COMPANY used to send the scrap shipments to ITTEFAQ FOUNDRIES apparently without any charge;

5. In recognition of such illegal services (i.e. undocumented sales to ITTEFAQ FOUNDRIES) provided by Mr. Majid Sultan Khwaja (CEO of M/S TARIQ SULTAN AND COMPANY) to ITTEFAQ FOUNDRIES, he (Majid Sultan Khwaja) was granted ticket of SENATE OF PAKISTAN and he (Majid Sultan Khwaja) became Senator during the premiership of Mian Nawaz Sharif;

6.  During the first tenure of Benazir Bhutto as prime minister, she ordered not to allow one shipping vessel loaded with scrap to reach Karachi port. Due to this specific order, the said shipping vessel which was loaded with scrap worth Rs. 3.5 Million (or little more) was stranded in the waters. The reason for this order was basically because of the fact that the loaded scrap was in the name of M/S TARIQ SULTAN AND COMPANY and Benazir Bhutto was informed that the said company (i.e. TARIQ SULTAN AND COMPANY) was actually a FRONT COMPANY of Mian Nawaz Sharif;

7. In retaliation to this arbitrary decision of Benazir Bhutto, Mian Nawaz Sharif started publishing daily advertisements in many newspapers in Pakistan showing day-to-day counting of days such shipping vessel remained stranded in the waters and was not allowed any berth at the Karachi port;

8. After almost a month or so, the said matter was finally resolved and the said shipping vessel was allowed to reach Karachi port;

9. At that time, Mr. Majid Sultan Khwaja informed me that Mian Nawaz Sharif was very much annoyed with Benazir Bhutto and her husband Asif Zardari due to this act of stopping the scrap ship in the waters and therefore pledged to "teach a historic lesson" to the couple (i.e. Mr. and Mrs. Asif Zardari);

10. Later, Mian Nawaz Sharif had announced TEHREEK-E-NIJAAT against Benazir Government. This announcement was organized at the residence of Mr. Majid Sultan Khwaja situated at KDA Scheme 1 (Karachi);

11. It was at that time that Pakistan´s intelligence agencies DID distribute money among all political parties including Pakistan Muslim League and MQM to combat PPP and depriving PPP from any potential victory in the elections;

12. At this juncture, I had a discussion with Mr. Majid Sultan Khwaja on various issues including the decision of Benazir Bhutto to economically victimize Mian Nawaz Sharif. Mr. Majid Sultan Khwaja categorically said that Mian Nawaz Sharif DID receive funds from certain intelligence agencies BUT not for funding any anti-PPP campaign but as a COMPENSATION of loss caused by Benazir´s order to obstruct shipping vessel in the waters loaded with scrap for ITTEFAQ FOUNDRIES;

13. Mr. Majid Sultan Khwaja is still alive and can be contacted to verify the above-mentioned fact;

14. In reality, Mian Nawaz Sharif had collected many crores from Pakistan´s intelligence agencies as also mentioned to me by Malik Meraj Khalid during 1997 when I was serving as DIRECTOR PROJECT PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT at RURAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION OF PAKISTAN (Islamabad). Malik Meraj Khalid was Chairman of the said Foundation. In October 1997, Malik Meraj Khalid had become Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan. I had opportunity to discuss lots of things with Malik Meraj Khalid at RDF CENTRE situated at G-9/1, Islamabad;

15. Malik Meraj Khalid revealed some alarming facts such as follows:

                  a) that Nawaz Sharif was a puppet of Pakistan´s intelligence agencies and he (Nawaz Sharif) had agreed to act as an OBEDIENT SERVANT of the intelligence agencies in order to get rid of Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari thereby eliminating them from Pakistan´s political scenario;

                  b) that Nawaz Sharif was given many crores by Pakistan´s intelligence agencies in order to buy certain political parties to create hurdles for PPP from gaining majority in the next elections;

                  c) that Nawaz Sharif was given a specific task to use "all methods of political victimization" against PPP and Benazir Bhutto so much so that Benazir Bhutto should either leave Pakistan forever or retire from politics on voluntary basis;

                  d) that Nawaz Sharif was ready not to interrupt or question Pakistan´s intelligence agencies in their Pakistan-based operations as well as operations in India, Afghanistan (Taliban) and China;

                  e)  that Nawaz Sharif was a WAHABI and therefore he was "MORE TRUSTWORTHY THAN BENAZIR BEING A SHIA";

                  f)  that Nawaz Sharif would not interfer in the nuclear programme and rather allow all means to make sure that Pakistan becomes a nuclear power;

                  g) that Nawaz Sharif would NEVER SIGN NON-PROLIFERATION TREATY (NPT) or CTBT (Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty);

                  h) that Nawaz Sharif will not question sources of income of military establishment or initiate any investigation in the buying of military equipment worth billions of dollars;

                  i) that Nawaz Sharif would keep silence on involvement of Pakistan´s intelligence agencies in their secret plans of converting Chinese province of Xinjiang into an Islamic state on Taliban pattern in connivance of TABLIGHI JAMAT;

RE: PAYMENT OF MONEY TO ALTAF HUSSAIN

1. Altaf Hussain DID receive money through the then Chief Minister Sindh Jam Sadiq Ali at ABBASI SHAHEED HOSPITAL. Not only this, Jam Sadiq Ali also gifted a bungalow worth Rs. 6 Million (Sixty lakhs) to Saleem Shahzad (MQM activist and right hand of Altaf Hussain) on his marriage;

2. Afaq Ahmad was also paid money in recognition of his services but Altaf Hussain was not happy about this payment so much so that two rival groups (Altaf Group and Afaq Group) came into existence / emerged within MQM-Karachi. There was some physical fight and weapons used as well. Consequently, Altaf Hussain was shot in his leg by members of Afaq Group. Altaf Hussain was admitted to ABBASI SHAHEED HOSPITAL Nazimabad (Paposhnagar). Due to this incident, MQM activists from Hyderabad Sindh were deputed for the security and safeguard of Altaf Hussain at the ABBASI SHAHEED HOSPITAL. When Jam Sadiq Ali came to know about this incident, he rushed to ABBASI SHAHEED HOSPITAL and gave some lakhs to Altaf Hussain which he (Jam Sadiq) had brought in a black color briefcase for the reason that Altaf Hussain´s life was in danger and he was rather stranded in the hospital for security reasons. In this hospital meeting, Jam Sadiq Ali informed Altaf Hussain that Afaq Ahmed was paid many lakhs by ISI to create MQM-Haqiqi in order to divide MQM and get rid of Altaf Hussain;

3.  On hearing this important information from Jam Sadiq Ali, Altaf Hussain begged Jam Sadiq Ali to arrange his (Altaf Hussain´s) exit from Pakistan as immediately as possible. Jam Sadiq Ali who had already become a close friend of Altaf Hussain promised and later arranged a passport which was used by Altaf Hussain to escape from Pakistan. Initially, it was decided that Altaf Hussain should reach either India or Afghanistan but this idea was rejected by Altaf Hussain as he (Altaf Hussain) considered both India and Afghanistan as " NOT SAFE ENOUGH". Hence, a passport was arranged which was in the name of a Pakistani who was a UK resident. The photo on the passport of its real owner was replaced by Altaf Hussain. Altaf Hussain later flew to London by using the said passport. Altaf Hussain had grown his beard and put on glasses while his hair were cut too short (like a Pathan). This was done to avoid any mishap at the Karachi airport although Jam Sadiq Ali had provided all possible protection to Altaf Hussain at the time of his departure;

4. More important and significant aspect of this story is that Altaf Hussain HAD NOT TRUSTED even Azeem Ahmed Tariq (Chairman of MQM) and had categorically requested Jam Sadiq Ali NOT TO INFORM Azeem Ahmed Tariq because Altaf Hussain had considered Azeem Tariq as a potential successor in case he (Altaf Hussain) was assassinated by Afaq Group;

5. Dr. Imran Farooq was a very close aide of both Altaf Hussain and Azeem Tariq. Dr. Imran Farooq had some concrete knowledge about the murder of Azeem Tariq and therefore Dr. Imran Farooq was recently removed from the MQM´s political stage by Altaf Hussain simply for the reason that he (Dr. Imran Farooq) was witness to many "mistakes" committed by Altaf Hussain and his (Dr. Imran Farooq´s) existence was considered as a THREAT by Altaf Hussain and equally by Saleem Shahzad;

6. It is therefore 100% correct and accurate that Altaf Hussain DID receive funds from intelligence agencies in order to cooperate with PML (Nawaz Sharif) in obstructing PPP from gaining any majority in Sindh province;

Editorial: Congress’s Landmark Balochistan Hearing
Wednesday’s hearing on Balochistan of the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs was a spectacular success under every standard for the Baloch nationalist movement. Chaired by Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican congressman from California, the hearing was attended by four more congressmen, bringing together members of America’s two most important political parties, the Democrats and the Republicans, to discuss the important issue of Balochistan. A very learned audience, comprising of policymakers, lobbyists, diplomats, intellectuals, defenders of human rights, journalists, and researchers of leading think-tanks attentively heard the proceedings.
The hearing was convened at a very critical juncture not only because of the volatile situation that exists in Balochsitan but also because of increasing breach of trust between the United States of America and Pakistan. It has assured the Baloch that members of the US Congress, who have spent all their lives guarding and promoting democratic values, stand with the people of Balochistan. Given the ideas shared by members of the Congress, it was very clear that they already had an implicit sense of Balochistan’s history, geo-strategic significance, federal government’s discriminatory and exploitative policies toward Balochistan but they had been kept in dark about the current state of affairs.
It was the highest democratic institution in the world where the issue of Balochistan was discussed at length. Members of the Baloch diaspora, who had traveled from all over North America to attend the event, said the program exceeded their expectations. They were jubilant as they left the hearing hall. In their remarks, Congressmen gave the impression that they cared for the people of Balochistan and were disturbed by human rights violations being committed by the Pakistan army in Balochistan. One analyst rightly observed that it was not only concern over human rights issues. Some Congressmen also proposed redrawing maps which were once drawn by the British but had eventually caused major wars in the world during the 20th century.
In spite of failed attempts by the government of Pakistan to hinder the debate on Balochistan, the US lawmakers did the right job by conveying to Islamabad, through Wednesday’s proceedings, that people’s right to self-determination and human rights cannot be overlooked by just describing them as one country’s “‘internal matter”. When states employ torture and abuse to their citizens then the international community does have an obligation to intervene in the greater interest of human lives. Many Americans who previously did not know much about Balochistan said they were startled about the tragedy of the Baloch region.
Some US legislators were absolutely perturbed to learn from Mr. T. Kumar, Amnesty International’s Director for International Advocacy that Balochistan’s former governor Awais Ahmed Ghani had confirmed to him that American weapons, which were supplied to Pakistan to fight the war on terrorism, were actually used against the Baloch. Also, Ali Dayan Hassan, the Pakistan Director of the Human Rights Watch, also traced the origin of enforced disappearances. According to him, the Pakistani military exploited the context of the war on terrorism to subject Baloch political opponents to enforced disappearance. Many of these facts were not fully known to some educated Americans because Islamabad has endeavored its level best to kill every Balochistan-related important news story which concerns American and global interest in order to keep the world in oblivion.
In what can now be expected from lawmakers of the United States, a country known as the engine of democracy and freedom, is further debating the issue of disappearances, torture, murder and misuse of American weapons on the floor of the US House of Representatives. The US government should take an interest in resolving Balochistan’s political dispute. In this regard, the US should facilitate an international conference on Balochistan at a neutral venue to chalk out a road map for peace. Dr. C. Christine Fair of Georgetown University, who also testified on Wednesday at the Congressional hearing, is underestimating the seriousness of the conflict by calling it Pakistan’s internal matter. The debate at this point should not revolve around the argument whether or not Balochistan is an internal or external matter. What is merits attention is the fact that no Baloch leader is today prepared to trust the Pakistani army, which is the real center of real political and of course military power, and to negotiate with it on gunpoint.
Thus, in the midst of a deadlock like this, human rights will continue to be violated and political space will further shrink and get replaced by violence and madness. Amid these odds, we highly congratulate all five members of the US Congress for convening such a historic event, whose success could easily be judged by the overwhelming number of people who showed up to learn more about Balochistan. Also, the panel of five witnesses also deserve plaudits for their highly professional and insightful testimonies.
We truly hope that Dana Rohrabacher’s caravan of friends of Balochistan will be joined by more Congressmen and lead to the formation of a Baloch-America congressional caucus.

PAKISTAN ON THE BRINK OF DISINTEGRATION

The recent political development in Pakistan shows clearly that Pakistan is on the brink of its disintegration. For this reason and in order to combat such disintegration, Pakistan army is acting faster to make sure that Pakistan´s division is deferred for another few years. The recent plan of dividing Punjab province by the PPP government has rather paved way for the interference on the part of Pakistan army in making immediate decisions to take control of the ongoing situation and facilitate "proper" monitoring of the developments in the political circles. There are possibilities of formation of a national caretaker government under the auspices of Pakistan army which means that there would be no MARTIAL LAW but the existence of PPP government shall no longer be possible.
